Community Relation
Gallions Reach has long supported community programmes and initiatives that engage with the local area. As a stand-alone shopping park, we have an ongoing goal to remain an essential part of our customer's daily life.
In line the above, we have established and nurtured relationships with many key community partners, hosted regular sports events where Gallions Reach has worked in tandem with the UEL, local sports clubs and resident sports persons who best represent and resonate with our community.
Gallions Reach hold an annual Eid Market, allowing small and independent businesses to showcase products whilst appealing to a part of the diverse culture of the are we call home.
Being a meeting place and home for cultural events and holidays has long been part of the Gallions' DNA and an aspect we will continue to grow over the coming years.
During the Feastive period, we engage with the local Broadway Theatre in Barking, which participates in our Annual Christmas Launch and invites Talent Central to spearhead our Festive parade and Gallions Primary to delight our customers with its Festive choir.
As part of our seasonal calendar of events, it's commonplace to see a local business or charity involved in our activities, whether it's Surrey Quays Farm is offering an Easter petting zoo or Great Ormond Street Hospital as a charity partner of a summer event, we ensure that not only our retailers suit your wants and needs, but so do the companies and charities we partner with.
To be an integral part of the community, we must do what we can to help local people live a better life, and that is why Gallions Reach will continue to work and support local groups.
