Over the years, Gallions Reach endeavored to become a home for wildlife and a place where greenery can flourish. Each year, we are proud to say, has been a vast improvement on the one before; bringing life to previously un-used spaces. 

In 2021, bird boxes were fixed to trees throughout the park to enhance the lives of the existing bird community, and to encourage new species to migrate to Gallions.

We fixed the boxes to the following trees: Cherry (Prunus Avium), London plane (Platanus Hispanica / Platanus × Acerifolia), Pinus Sylvestris, and Birch (Betula Jacquemontii). 

The Shopping Park’s main event space features a living wall between Next and Superdrug. In addition, there are over 1000 plants to enhance air quality and the overall well-being of those who sit, relax and unwind in the space.

At Gallions, we have a large landscaped areas as you enter the retail park, around the walkways and roundabouts on-site to offer visual features to the space. Various plant species have been added over the years, with the addition of tress, to help negate carbon emissions at the site. In addition to this, here at Gallions we promote a healthy life style with over 37 bicycle stands and encourage employees and customers to utilise them where possible.
